Which personal data we collect, and why we do so
Cookies
Cookies are small text files that are placed on your computer when you visit a website.
The purpose is to both make the user experience better for you by the website remembering your settings, which pages you have visited, logins and any user names and other information you have entered and want the website to remember so that you don’t have to enter this every time.
We don’t use cookies to see which websites you visit after you have visited our website. Nor do we store data that allows us to identify you as a person.
It is voluntary for you when visiting our website whether you wish to provide personal data in connection with services, for example to receive newsletters or by completing and submitting forms.
If you visit this website, we nevertheless collect anonymous information about the visit using the Google Analyticstool. The purpose of this is to prepare statistics that we use to improve and develop the information service on the websites. Examples of what the statistics provide answers to, is how many people visit different pages on the website, how long the visit lasts, which websites the users arrive from and which browsers that are used.
The information is processed in anonymised and aggregated form. By anonymised it is meant that we cannot trace the information we collect back to the individual user. We collect the full IP address, but the IP address is anonymised such that only the three first groups in the address are used to generate statistics. This means that if the IP address consists of the numbers 195.159.103.82, only 195.159.103.xx will be used. Additionally, the IP addresses are processed at an aggregate level, which means that all data are combined into a group and not processed individually.
Example of cookies that are used for Google Analytics are:
_ga: Automatically deleted after 2 years. Used to distinguish users from each other.
_gid: Automatically deleted after 24 hours. Used to distinguish users from each other.
_gat: Automatically deleted after 1 minute. Used to distribute traffic/queries. When Google Analytics is distributed via Google Tag Manager, this data is called _dc_gtm_ .

Login cookies last for two days, and screen information cookies last for one year. If you select “Remember me,” the login will last for two weeks. If you log off from your user account, the login cookies are deleted.

Comments
If comments are available for posts on the website and you leave a comment, we collect the information in the comment form, in addition to the IP address and information on the browser, to prevent spam comments. We store the data in our systems for as long as they are required in order to provide the services you request.
Embedded content from other websites
Pages and articles on this website may have content (e.g. videos, images, articles, social media sharing, etc.) from other websites. Such embedded content from other websites works exactly as if you had visited the other websites.

How long we store your information
If you comment a post, the comment and its information are stored. This is because we want to recognise and approve follow-up comments automatically instead of queuing them for approval.
